Introduction

Tiny Orbit Apps ("we," "our," or "us") built the Guess The Number app ("the App") as a free, ad-supported app. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use the App.

The App is designed to be suitable for all ages, including children under the age of 13. We are committed to complying with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and Google's Families Policy.

Information We Collect

Information You Provide

Display Name (Optional): You may select a username within the App. If you do not provide one, a random name is generated automatically. This name is stored locally on your device and is not transmitted to our servers.

Information Collected Automatically

Game Statistics: The App stores gameplay data including games played, games won, win streaks, and best attempts. This data is stored locally on your device using SharedPreferences unless synced via Google Play Games Services.

Firebase Analytics: We use Google's Firebase Analytics service, which collects anonymous usage data such as session duration, app opens, device type, operating system version, and general (country/region-level) location derived from your IP address. This data is collected in aggregate and is not used to personally identify you. No custom analytics events are actively tracked.

Advertising Data: The App displays advertisements through Google AdMob. AdMob is configured with child-directed treatment, meaning personalized advertising is disabled and only contextual, age-appropriate ads are shown. AdMob may collect device identifiers and general device information.

Third-Party Services

The App integrates the following third-party services, each governed by their own privacy policies:

• Google AdMob — Displays advertisements. Configured with child-directed treatment (COPPA compliant). No personalized or interest-based ads are served. Google Privacy Policy
• Google Play Games Services — Provides achievements. If signed in, achievement progress is synced to your Google account. We do not access your Google account information beyond what is required for achievements. Google Privacy Policy

Information We Do NOT Collect

We want to be transparent about what we do not collect:

• Personal information (real name, email address, phone number, physical address)
• Precise location or GPS data
• Photos, videos, or audio recordings
• Contacts, calendar, or files from your device
• Financial or payment information
• Chat messages or communications

Data Storage and Security

All user preferences and game data are stored locally on your device using SharedPreferences with platform-level encryption. No personal data is transmitted to or stored on our servers.

All communication with third-party services (Firebase, AdMob, Google Play Games) is encrypted via HTTPS.

Children's Privacy

The App complies with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and Google's Families Policy. Specifically:

• We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
• Only contextual, age-appropriate ads are displayed.
• No behavioral or interest-based advertising is used.
• The App does not contain any social features, user-to-user communication, or content sharing.
• The App does not request any dangerous permissions (camera, microphone, location, contacts, etc.).

Notifications

The App may send local notifications (daily play reminders and streak reminders) if you grant notification permission. These notifications are generated and scheduled entirely on your device — no push notification services or external servers are involved. You can disable notifications at any time through the App's Settings or your device's system settings.

Data Deletion

You can delete your data using the following methods:

• Reset Progress: Use the "Reset Progress" option within the App's Settings to delete all local game data.
• Uninstall: Uninstalling the App removes all locally stored data from your device.
• Google Play Games: To manage your Google Play Games achievement data, visit your Google Play Games profile settings.

Your Choices

• Audio: You can enable or disable all app audio from the Settings screen.
• Notifications: You can control notifications from the App's Settings screen or your device settings.
• Ad Preferences: You can manage ad personalization through your device's Google Settings (Settings → Google → Ads).
• Google Play Games: Sign-in is automatic if you have Google Play Games on your device. You can manage this through your device's Google Play Games settings.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically.
